Filming Antiquity using New Technology
PRODUCTION IN 4K UHD
In an age of questioning the origins of civilization, and the growth of religious devotion, Holy Places Productions decided to use new technology to present the Holy sites of Antiquity.
HolyPlaces Productions presents documentaries focusing on the Holy Places in the Holy Land, with the objective of presenting the Holy Places to the world from Israel, the cradle of the monotheistic religions.
These documentaries are filmed in stunning 4K Ultra HD video quality.
Broadcasters and TV channels today, whether for religious or general audiences, are interested in new types of content.
You can browse our Catalog and choose among our productions. As independent producer, our productions are based on a strong editorial line and high quality contents.
We are also filming using new technology. Indeed, these documentaries also offer a solution to broadcasters and TV channels who want to stimulate their “Second Screen” with content in 360 degrees, on the same subject. Each 4K Video is also filmed in VR 360° in 4K.
All of our post production is done in house. The editing is where everything starts. It doesn’t all end when the shooting stops. Actually, this is when it starts. Our team of editors knows exactly how to pick the right shots to tell the story and engage the audience. We can handle projects of any size and format, including for cinema or TV broadcasting. Our team can handle video editing in 4K, as well as the structure of the sequences, the music, the sound and the voice-over, if necessary.
We may not have a helicopter, but we certainly have the drones you need. We include aerial footage in our films, adding a unique view and enhancing all kinds of video productions. All of our drone pilots are fully insured and licensed. We know how to fly our drones while following the strict regulations of the Holy Land, and we have received permits for all the sites that we have already filmed.
All our drone aerial views are also in 4K. Aerial filming can also be done in VR 360 degrees.
PRODUCTION IN 360º
Our creations can be viewed on computers, smartphones and tablets but, they can also be downloaded in order to be viewed on your favorite VR headset. Virtual reality opens up a new way to see the world and the environment. By producing in 360 degrees, Holy Places Productions is able to put the audience at the heart of the action and bring our viewers inside the holiest places in the Holy Land.
For pilgrims and others interested in discovering holy places in the Holy Land, we want to give people an opportunity to walk around, as if they were actually there.
Broadcasters and TV channels today, whether for religious or general audiences, are interested in new types of content, such as VR 360°, to provide an enhanced viewing experience for content on another device: the 2nd screen.
While watching or engaging with content on the TV, our 360° content can be displayed on any Smartphone. Not only an additional screen for consuming content, it can also be a new source of income for broadcasters and TV Channels.
To date, we have produced over 133 video clips of Holy Places in VR 360° such as Basilicas, Churches, Monasteries, Mosques, as well as Ruins and Archaeological Excavations.
It is well known that 360° video content encourages user interaction, increases viewership numbers as well as total media consumption time. We offer the possibility of transferring 360° Video content, enabling easy and long distance setups between camera location & control station. Real-time live streaming of 360° VR video can be done on YouTube & Facebook 360° live support, but also on your custom live 360° VR video player. This way, there is no time or audience limits. You can also archive your stream for on-demand viewing or integrate 360° video content with your broadcast production flow.
Here are the three little things that makes us special
In an age of questioning the origins of civilization, and the growth of religious devotion, Holy Places Productions decided to use new technology to present the Holy sites of Antiquity. So we all come to work everyday from 9am to 6pm (well not everybody!) with the goal of helping you to discover Holy Places from another point of view. Even if some of us are on the road to film, we still come together to create great movies and documentaries.
